The Acxiom Laboratory for Applied Research (ALAR) connects Acxiom Corporation with the intellectual resources of its research partners and conducts cutting-edge applied research. In this blended environment, ALAR harnesses knowledge, analytical skills, and innovations to create a global competitive advantage in the information management industry.

Background

ALAR, formerly known as the "Acxiom Data Engineering Laboratory" (ADEL), began in March 2001, as a research partnership between Acxiom Corporation and its university partners.

Operating under a comprehensive model that guides its engagement in collaborative, applied research, the Laboratory has successfully completed a number of research projects and has been designated as an Arkansas Center for Applied Technology in Information Technology by the Arkansas Science and Technology Authority (ASTA). The Laboratory has proved to be an efficient means to marshal and manage the research resources that help Acxiom maintain its global leadership in the delivery of customer data management solutions.
