David Roland

David Roland is an Acxiom Technical Unit Leader for the Data Grid Research and Tools Development business unit.

Roland, who has a degree in Computer Science, joined Acxiom Corporation in 1984 as a software developer. He led the rewrite of Acxiom?s proprietary matching software, Demodup, and the design and development of Acxiom?s initial address hygiene software, AddressAbility. Later, Roland became Director of a revenue group and led a major customer account from its initial signing through its growth to over $25 million per year in sales. He became Acxiom?s Industry Applications Development Leader in 1994, before accepting his current position in 1995. As Technical Unit Leader, he has also led the Acxiom Data Network and AbiliTec Link Append Development.
